Actually spent a day...

...doing some photography.  The day began at a local service listening to our church guy talking about the gospel.  I am non religious but the girlfriend is into it.  Then spent about 2 hours at a local coffee shop just talking about stuff.  After the 2 hour talk, the girlfriend and I took a drive up to the Ottawa valley to visit her parents grave site.  Then the rest of the afternoon was spent at Calabogie lake taking a timelapse using the Sony a7ii with the Sony f3.5-6.3 24-200MM lens.  Then dinner at Big Bone BBQ in Kanata.  Love them wings and ribs.  Then filled up the car with car and then home.  Now I have the Sony a7ii setup on the balcony doing a time-lapse of the sunset.  I think I will sleep well tonight.  Pictures to follow.

Going flying after work

The humidity finally broke and the temps are actually nice.  So after work, I'm going flying with the DJI Spark.  I don't know where I'll fly but I need to.  I need more Ariel footage.

Timelapse from today

Since my contract ended early due to shortage of work and looking for work on a Friday, I decided to give myself a break and have some time to relax I went downtown to shoot a time lapse of Parliament Hill from the Quebec side.  There were a lot of nice and fluffy clouds.  The clip should be up and approved soon on Shutterstock, Pond5 and Storyblocks.

The photo and videos from Algonquin Radio Telescope are up for sale

Photos and videos are finally being accepted on the various micro stock sites listed on the right of this blog such as Bigstockphoto, Fotolia, Pond5 and Shutterstock and my own site.  Hopefully I'll make a sale or a dozen off from my fun trip to the Algonquin Radio Observatory at Algonquin Park, Ontario.

Glad I went!

I seem to be shooting a lot of video lately.  More video than photography.  I didn't even bother taking my cameras today.  Only took my Canon Vixia HF R62.  I'm glad I went to the Gatineau side of the Ottawa river after work today.  There were big puffy clouds that were moving at a quick pace over Ottawa today.

I'm sitting at a Timmie's right now editing the videos while listening to a YouTube video on Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC and the Google Nik Plugins.  Pretty cool software.
